Botanical Gardens
Webster's Dictionary defines Botanical Gardens as: A garden often with greenhouses for the culture, study, and exhibition of special plants —called also bo*tan*ic garden.
Botanic gardens are one of my favorite places to visit because I always see and learn something new. I can spend hours roaming the beautiful grounds and greenhouses, taking in all the beauty of the large range of plants they have chosen to include. These public gardens are like museums for living plants, a place where plants are highly revered, protected and well taken care of so they will be around for many future generations. They are a great place for us to observe what a particular plant will do, how it will bloom, or how large it will grow. We can then use this knowledge in our own personal gardens. Be sure to give them your support.
